Accreditation Overview
Advancing Excellence Through Faith-Based Quality Assurance
The International Association for Biblical Education (IABE) is committed to promoting excellence in biblical and theological education through a comprehensive, faith-based accreditation process.
IABE Accreditation is a voluntary process of evaluation and recognition that helps Bible colleges, seminaries, theological institutions, and Christian ministry training organizations demonstrate their commitment to academic excellence, biblical integrity, spiritual formation, effective governance, and continuous institutional improvement.
Our accreditation process is designed to encourage institutions to strengthen their educational programs, enhance organizational effectiveness, and fulfill their mission of preparing Christ-centered leaders for ministry and service.
What is IABE Accreditation?
IABE Accreditation is a structured quality assurance process that evaluates an institution or academic program against the IABE Standards of Accreditation.
The evaluation considers key areas such as institutional mission, governance, academic quality, faculty qualifications, student services, spiritual formation, financial stewardship, ethical practices, and ongoing improvement.
Accreditation signifies that an institution or program has demonstrated compliance with established standards and is committed to maintaining quality and accountability.
Types of Accreditation
IABE offers two categories of accreditation
