About us

The International Association for Biblical Education (IABE) is an accreditation body for Theological Institutions, founded in 2015 with the aim of promoting excellence in theological education. Our focus is to nurture and equip aspiring young men and women through Theological Institutions who are wholly committed to extending the Kingdom of God in their respective communities. With comprehensive standards tailored to meet the needs of our member institutions, IABE works closely with them to enhance their world-class accreditation status and quality. Our mandate is to authorize, recognize and accredit Bible Colleges and Seminaries that meet the highest level of learning and teaching in the pursuit of God’s will. We take pride in providing mentorship and guidance to our member Institutions as they strive for excellence in fulfilling their mission.

Our Mission

IABE is dedicated to promoting excellence in biblical and theological education by accrediting theological institutions that demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and service, and  empowering them to produce graduates who are equipped to fulfill the Great Commission and advance God’s Kingdom.

Objectives:

  1. To promote excellence in biblical and theological education by accrediting theological institutions that demonstrates a commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and service.
  2. To empower accredited institutions to produce graduates who are equipped to fulfill the Great Commission and advance God’s Kingdom.
  3. To establish, maintain, and publish standards for accreditation of theological institutions.
  4. To conduct periodic evaluations of accredited institutions to ensure continued compliance with IABE standards.
  5. To provide resources and support for the development and improvement of theological education.
  6. To foster a community of institutions and individuals committed to the highest standards of biblical education.
  7. To organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and other educational activities to promote the objects of the IABE.
  8. To engage in fundraising activities and seek donations, grants, and other funding to support the activities and objectives of the IABE.
  9. To do all such other lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
