Statement of Faith

The International Association for Biblical Education affirms the following biblical convictions as the foundation of our faith, mission, and ministry.

We Believe the Bible, consisting of sixty-six books, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God given to humanity for faith, life, and practice.

We Believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth by the Holy Spirit, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death upon the cross, His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His present ministry as our High Priest and Advocate.

We Believe in God's plan of restoration and reconciliation for humanity through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

We Believe that receiving Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior is the only means of salvation for lost and sinful humanity and grants believers the privilege of becoming children of God.

We Believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ and in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, including His fruit and gifts among God's people.

We Believe in the Church, called out of darkness into God's marvelous light, as the Body of Christ purchased by His precious blood.

We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal judgment.

We Believe in the bodily second coming of Jesus Christ in power and glory and in the gathering of His Church unto Himself.
