The International Association for Biblical Education (IABE) invites theological institutions to join our global community of accredited members. Our membership process ensures that institutions meet our rigorous standards for biblical education and excellence.
Step 1: Initial Inquiry
– Submit an initial inquiry to IABE, expressing interest in membership.
– Provide basic information about your institution, including name, location, and programs offered.
Step 2: Eligibility Review
– IABE reviews your institution’s eligibility for membership, based on our accreditation criteria.
– We may request additional information or documentation during this step.
Step 3: Application Submission
If deemed eligible, submit a comprehensive application, including:
– Institutional profile
– Program descriptions
– Faculty qualifications
– Academic policies
– Financial information
Step 4: Application Review
– IABE’s accreditation committee reviews your application, conducting a thorough evaluation of your institution’s academic quality, financial stability, and biblical integrity.
Step 5: Site Visit and Interviews
Our accreditation team conducts a site visit, interviewing faculty, staff, and students to gain a deeper understanding of your institution’s strengths and areas for improvement.
Step 6: Accreditation Decision
– IABE’s Board of Directors renders an accreditation decision, based on the committee’s recommendation.
– Accredited institutions receive a formal letter and certificate, acknowledging their membership in IABE.
Step 7: Ongoing Membership
– Accredited institutions must maintain compliance with IABE standards and undergo periodic reviews to ensure continued accreditation.
– Members enjoy access to resources, networking opportunities, and professional development through IABE.
